Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City on alert as reports claim Edinson Cavani is unhappy at PSG

Liverpool are willing to loan out Raheem Sterling to ensure he gets to play proper first-team football. However, they are looking for an experienced replacement for him and are considering Sporting Lisbon’s Spanish international Diego Capel. Brendan Rodgers has admitted that Sterling has a long way to go before he can become a regular at Liverpool. (Daily Mirror)

Arsenal are eying Manchester United’s Javier Hernandez lest anything happens to Olivier Giroud. Nicklas Bendtner doesn’t have much to contribute to the club and Yaya Sanogo will still take some time before breaking into the first team. (Daily Mail)

Manchester United missed out on signing Sami Khedira in the summer transfer window and are looking to make a bid for him in January. Moyes sent assistant coach Phil Neville to watch Khedira in action in the Bernabeu side’s thrilling 7-3 home win over Sevilla last week. (The Mirror)

Le10Sport reports that Edinson Cavani is not happy with his move to PSG, having made to play second fiddle to the club’s preferred striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea are now on alert for if Cavani decides to leave, he would be a perfect addition to their squads. Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid and Barcelona are all also thought to be monitoring the situation in case Cavani unexpectedly comes back onto the market. (Express)
