China host Indonesia at the Qingdao Youth Football Stadium on Tuesday for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, looking to end their losing run and finally get a point on the board.

It's been a surprisingly disappointing campaign for the Dragon's Team, who've lost all three of their qualifier matches. It began with a crushing 7-0 defeat to Japan, followed by a 2-1 loss to Saudi Arabia. On Thursday, Australia piled more misery on them with a 3-1 defeat.

Branko Ivanković's side are now on a four-game losing run, and remain winless in their last five. Indeed, out of 11 official matches this year, they've won just once: a 4-1 victory over Singapore in the last round of the World Cup qualifiers.

In contrast, the Garuda Team have drawn all three of their matches. A 1-1 draw with Saudi Arabia was followed by a goalless stalemate to Australia. Bahrain then pegged them back in extra time to a 2-2 draw.

With three points in the bag, Shin Tae-yong's side are just above China in the group table, although the race for qualification is really tight, as they are just one point behind second-placed Australia.

China vs Indonesia Prediction

The home side have flattered to deceive big time in these qualifiers, losing all three games of the round. The Garuda Team can smell blood in the water, but their own struggles lately could mean this one ends in a stalemate.
