Canada are back in action on Tuesday when they go head-to-head with Panama in a friendly matchup at BMO Field on Tuesday. This will be the first meeting between the two nations since July 2023, when Jesse Marsch’s men secured a 2-0 victory in the CONCACAF Nations League semi-finals.
Canada were denied consecutive wins for the first time since June 2023 as they played out a goalless draw with Mexico at the AT&T Stadium on September 11.
Before that, Marsch’s side snapped their four-game winless run across all competitions on September 7, when they edged out the USA 2-1 at the Children's Mercy Park.
Canada head into Tuesday’s clash unbeaten in six of their last seven outings across all competitions, with a 2-0 loss against Argentina in the Copa America semi-finals in July being the exception.
Panama, on the other hand, were left empty-handed for a second consecutive friendly game as they lost 2-0 against the United States at the Q2 Stadium on Sunday.
