Bodo/Glimt and Jagiellonia square off in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers on Tuesday

Bodo/Glimt and Jagiellonia return to action in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers when they square off in the second leg of their third-round clash on Tuesday. Having registered a 1-0 loss on home turf, Adrian Siemieniec’s men will journey to the Aspmyra Stadion looking to overturn their one-goal deficit and turn the tie on its head.

Bodo/Glimt were left disappointed in the Norwegian Eliteserien as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Viking after throwing away their lead in the 89th minute last Saturday.

Kjetil Knutsen’s side have now gone unbeaten in their last four games in the league, where they currently hold a healthy eight-point lead at the top of the standings.

Bodo/Glimt now turn their attention to the Champions League qualifiers, where they thrashed RFS 7-1 on aggregate in the second qualifying round before claiming a 1-0 victory over Jagiellonia in the first leg of their third-round clash last Wednesday.

Meanwhile, last week’s defeat against the Glimt saw Jagiellonia’s run of five consecutive victories to start the new season come to an end.

Siemieniec’s men had scored 14 goals in their first five matches across all competitions while keeping three clean sheets and conceding three at the defensive end of the pitch.

Jagiellonia will follow Tuesday’s game with a clash against Cracovia at the Białystok City Stadium in the Polish Ekstraklasa on August 17.
