Angola host Niger at the Estádio 11 de Novembro on Friday in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, looking to extend their winning start to three games.

After romping to the COSAFA Cup title in July, the Black Sable Antelopes continued their winning run. They beat Ghana in their opening qualifier match courtesy of a 93rd-minute winner by Felicio Milson, before overcoming Sudan in their next game, which also saw a late goal from them.

With six points in the bag, Pedro Gonçalves' side are at the top of Group F, three clear of any other team. Ahead of their fresh pair of qualifier matches this month, both against Niger, 25 players have been called up.

Qatar-based forward Gelson Dala will be keen to add to his tally of 20 goals from 48 appearances. Casa Pia goalkeeper Ricardo Batista is the only uncapped player in the squad.

Meanwhile, Niger are looking for their first win of the qualifying campaign. The Menas began with a 1-0 loss to Sudan before a 1-1 draw with Ghana. Having accumulated just one point from those games, the west African side are rock bottom in Group F.

  • The Black Sable antelopes have won their last six games, and remain unbeaten in their last 10 official games.

Angola vs Niger Prediction

The hosts of the match are on a terrific run of form, winning their last six in a row and going unbeaten in their last 10. This gives them the psychological edge coming into the game against a side that's blown hot and cold this year, while also having started their qualifying campaign on a sluggish note.

Prediction: Angola 2-1 Niger
