The English Premier League is the most popular football league in the world because of its ability to put the world's best players on the pitch every weekend. Over the last two seasons, the league has seen many top-quality attackers, from Cole Palmer at Chelsea to the consistently brilliant Mohamed Salah of Liverpool, strut their stuff.

On that note, here are the top-five player combinations for goals since the beginning of the 2023-24 season.

5. Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah (seven Premier League goals)

Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez are two of the league's finest players and have helped the Reds challenge for the top spot in the league standings. Salah and Nunez have combined for seven goals since the beginning of last season.

Salah has scored 160 goals in the league while providing 73 assists in 268 games for Liverpool. Nunez has bagged 21 goals and 11 assists in 69 league games for the English giants.

4. Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz (seven Premier League goals)

Arsenal's Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz are fourth on the list, having combined for seven goals as well. They were at the forefront of Arsenal's title charge last season and have started the ongoing campaign well.

Saka has played 175 league matches and scored 48 goals while assisting 40. Havertz has scored 15 goals and assisted eight in 42 games for the Gunners.

3. Anthony Elanga and Chris Wood (seven Premier League goals)

Nottingham Forest duo Anthony Elanga and Chris Wood complete the hat-trick of duos from the last two seasons with seven goal combinations. Elanga and Wood helped Forest survive in the Premier League last season and look set to repeat that feat.

Elanga has scored five goals and provided 10 assists in 42 league appearances since he joined the Trees from Manchester United. Wood has scored 18 goals and provided one assist in 43 appearances for the side in the league.

Aston Villa duo Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins take the penultimate spot in this ranking. They have been keen to the Villans' rise in fortunes, helping the side return to the UEFA Champions League. They have combined for eight goals for their side so far and will hope to continue their side's rapid rise this season.

Bailey has scored 15 goals and assisted 15 in over 5000 minutes, spread over 90 games in the league. Watkins has 62 Premier League goals and 27 assists for Villa.

1. Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer (10 Premier League goals)

The Chelse duo of Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer top the list for most productive partnerships among players in the league since the 2023/24 season. The duo has combined for 10 goals together, to help right the ship in west London.

Jackson has bagged 18 goals and seven assists in the top flight in 3178 minutes, spread over 40 games for the side. Palmer has been phenomenal in the league for the Blues since his arrival, bagging 24 goals and 15 assists in 3035 minutes spread over 38 games for his side since he arrived from Manchester City last season.
