India v West Indies: Warm-Up Match - ICC Women
Jemimah Rodrigues could be India's most important batter in this tournament.

India and New Zealand will clash in a Group A contest of the ICC Women's T20I World Cup 2024 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday, October 4.

After Pakistan's win over Sri Lanka, Group A is wide open as no team can be described as easy to beat, and with heavyweights Australia a part of the group, every match is a must-win for the other teams hoping to make it to the semi-finals.

India and New Zealand will be aware of the high stakes embedded in this clash and given the quality of the players going head-to-head, this should be a thrilling encounter.

On that note, let's look at the top three Dream11 differentials from this match.

#3 Tanuja Kanwer (ALL - IND)

Left-arm spinner and bowling all-rounder Tanuja Kanwer could be a handy differential in this clash on Dream11. The economical Indian bowler has picked up only one wicket in her four T20I appearances, but she has an eye-catching economy rate of just 4.75.

She has impressed in the last two editions of the WPL and in the UAE where spinners generally tend to enjoy themselves, she should make it to the playing XI ahead of Arundhati Reddy. Indian bowlers are expected to take plenty of wickets in this match, and it all comes down to whether you're picking the right options from among them.

While most may overlook Tanuja since she has only one wicket to her name in T20Is, her pressure could lead to multiple breakthroughs this time around, and while she is a bit of a risky pick, she could reward her backers hugely in this match.

#2 Eden Carson (BOWL - NZ)

New Zealand off-spinner Eden Carson should be a key figure for them in containing the Indian batters in this match. A proven and consistent wicket-taker, Carson has 30 wickets at an average of 16.03 in 25 T20Is.

Carson generally operates in the powerplay, but she has the skillset to bowl at all stages of the game. She usually picks up her wickets through bowled or LBW, giving her an additional advantage from a Dream11 perspective.

New Zealand will pose a tough challenge to the Indian batters in what's likely to be a bowler-friendly surface. While a few of the White Ferns' primary bowling options will be highly owned, Carson could be the perfect differential who helps your team rise above the rest.

#1 Jemimah Rodrigues (BAT - IND)

It always appears like Jemimah Rodrigues never gets her due as a Dream11 pick, and almost always turns out to be a differential. While India's head coach Amol Muzumdar all but confirmed that Harmanpreet Kaur will slot in at No. 3, meaning that Jemimah drops down to No. 4, she remains a quality Dream11 option.

She's arguably India's best player of spin, and her run-scoring abilities against spinners could well define how India fare in this tournament. She's in sparkling form ahead of this match, playing a brilliant 40-ball 52 in tough circumstances in the warm-up match against the West Indies before making 30 runs against South Africa.

A quality Indian top-order batter with a wealth of experience and skills being a differential doesn't happen often, and those Dream11 players who back Jemimah could be rewarded handsomely.
