England and South Africa lock horns in the ninth ICC Women's T20I World Cup 2024 match at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Monday, October 7.

Both teams looked in good form in their opening fixtures and look well-placed to win their remaining fixtures apart from this one. That puts even more emphasis on this match as the winner will likely top Group B and potentially avoid facing Australia in the semi-finals.

This fixture is a rematch of the semi-final of the previous edition of the T20 World Cup. South Africa stunned England then and will be confident of registering another win here, while Heather Knight's side will seek revenge.

Let's now look at a few Dream11 differential picks from this fixture.

#3 Sune Luus (ALL - SA)

Former South African captain and all-rounder Sune Luus is set to play a crucial role for the team at this World Cup. She's one of the best players of spin, a skill set essential for any team aiming to thrive in the UAE. She's also a very handy leg-spinner, having picked up over 50 wickets in her T20I career, with this match set to be her 122nd T20I appearance.

Luus bowled a couple of overs in South Africa's previous game against the West Indies, and with the action movie to Sharjah for tonight's encounter, the Proteas should use more spin, and Luus could well complete her full quota of overs.

England's weakness against leg spin showed as they struggled against Rabeya Khan last match, and Luus could capitalize on that. Such a quality all-rounder having differential ownership is a rarity, and Luus could well rack up the points on Dream11 in tonight's match.

#2 Heather Knight (BAT - ENG)

England skipper Heather Knight promoted herself to No. 4 ahead of Alice Capsey, but the move didn't quite work as she was bowled by Ritu Moni for just 6. Nevertheless, she remains a valuable Dream11 option, despite her low ownership levels.

Heather Knight is one of the most experienced England batters, having scored over 2,000 runs in 120 T20Is with one hundred and seven fifties to her name. She also enjoys batting against South Africa, and averages 35.3, scoring at a strike rate of 126.2 against them.

For those looking for a solid Dream11 differential pick, Heather Knight certainly fits the bill.

#1 Ayabonga Khaka (BOWL - SA)

Ayabonga Khaka bowled a brilliant opening spell against the West Indies and was unlucky to end up wicketless. She finished with figures of 0/12 in three overs, including a maiden in the powerplay filled with near misses and dropped catches.

The 32-year-old is not the most prolific wicket-taker, but she seems to be in great form now and is hitting all the right lengths when bowling. Much like Heather Knight, she also loves playing in this fixture and has 11 wickets in seven matches against England at a solid average of 13.8.

She's certainly due a Dream11 points haul in this fixture, and for those who can overlook her blank in the last outing, this one could be quite productive.
