RB driver Yuki Tsunoda was recently seen driving Red Bull's RB18 in the Goodwood Festival of Speed. While driving the 2022 F1 championship-winning car, he also wore old-school racing goggles and a helmet.

The RB18 was one of Red Bull's most dominant cars in F1. It was driven by Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez in the 2022 F1 season. The car won 17 out of 22 races that season, with 15 of them won by Verstappen, while Perez won the other two.

The RB18, along with other Red Bull's most dominant cars from F1 and other motorsports recently featured at the Goodwood Festival of Speed event, where all kinds of two and four-wheeler super machines are showcased.

Despite being an RB driver, Yuki Tsunoda got to drive the highly successful F1 car in the event. The Japanese driver has been under the Red Bull umbrella since 2018 and is currently driving for RB and hoping to hop into Red Bull's main team in the future.

Below is the clip of him driving the RB18 in the motorsport festival:

Tsunoda drove Sergio Perez's RB18, with the Mexican's racing number, 11, stickered onto it. Since the Goodwood's road is not the best for an F1 car, he drove it at regular speed, but the grunt of the V6 turbocharged engine was thrilling to hear.

The Japanese driver also got to do donuts with the car on the road, to further entertain the spectators. He eventually drove the car towards the finish line without any major issues.

Yuki Tsunoda claims he has not talked to Red Bull about his future with the team

Yuki Tsunoda recently told Sportskeeda that though he would want to be in the best car, which was Red Bull at the moment, he has not talked about his future with the team.

Since Tsunoda has been in Red Bull's B team for quite some time now, rumors emerged that he could replace a struggling Sergio Perez in the near future. However, the Japanese driver himself stated that no talks had been held between him and the Austrian team.

“I mean obviously as a driver you always want to be in a good car, the best car as much as possible, and currently Red Bull has that best car throughout the grid. Obviously, If I can be one day in a Red Bull, that will be great, that one especially. But the truth is I haven’t really spoken anything with them at all about the seat," Tsunoda said.

As of now, Yuki Tsunoda drives for RB alongside Daniel Ricciardo. After the 2024 F1 British GP, he stands in 12th place in the drivers' championship table with 20 points, while Ricciardo is in 13th place with 11 points.
