Kick Sauber's Valtteri Bottas recently picked potential careers in other sports for several F1 racers including Lewis Hamilton and Carlos Sainz. Ever since he left Mercedes at the end of 2021, fans have gotten to see the Finnish driver's lighter side.

Bottas has since joined the Swiss team based in Hinwii. The 10-time race winner has not been afraid to show his funnier side in the paddock and make himself more approachable by acting in advertisements or showcasing his nude photograph for charitable causes.

Fittingly, in a video Kick Sauber recently released on X, Bottas is seen offering his alternate sporting choices for every driver on the grid this year in anticipation of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris later this month.

While he picked an easy and expected alternate career for himself - road cycling -given his love for riding, Bottas picked some interesting alternate careers for his fellow racers. Coming to Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz, he said:

"Carlos: Volleyball. I think he likes beach."

While giving the fans a glimpse of Lewis Hamilton's surfboard skills, he explained his next pick:

"Lewis: definitely surfing, he's a good surfer."

Valtteri Bottas also picked wrestling for Lando Norris apparently just to make himself laugh and marathon swimming for Logan Sargeant as the Florida native driver is experienced in swimming away from crocodiles as per the Finn.

As far as his F1 season goes, Bottas recently stated that he was looking forward to the double header before the summer break and pointed out that the week between the recent triple header and the upcoming Hungarian Grand Prix was essential.

As per Kick Sauber's official website, the 34-year-old Bottas said:

“Having a break after the triple header was definitely needed and now I am looking forward to the final two races before the summer shutdown. Budapest is a stunning city and it’s close enough to the (Hungaroring) circuit (in Mogyorod) to be enjoyed. It’s also traditionally a bit of a home race for the Finnish fans so there will be plenty of support in the stands."
"Overtaking here is quite a challenge. It’s an old-school track, tight and twisty, and given the limited opportunities to pass, qualifying will be crucial. Our recent races haven’t met our expectations and during the short break between triple and double headers we’ve worked hard as a team to focus on analyzing our issues," he added.

Valtteri Bottas further revealed that everyone in the team was:

"Working tirelessly to enhance our car’s performance and we hope for a step in the right direction at the Hungaroring.”

The Hinwil-based outfit is yet to score a point this season with Valtteri Bottas coming closest to one in the Chinese GP earlier this year before a DNF ousted him from the race. They are currently P10 in the Constructors Championship behind the likes of Alpine and Williams.
