Lewis Hamilton made a hilarious joke when his teammate George Russell asked him about his excellent skin condition during the 2024 F1 United States Grand Prix weekend. The two were having a conversation about skincare routines when this hysterical moment happened.

Hamilton is currently the second-oldest driver on the grid at 39-years-old. His immense experience is crucial for any team and helps him to understand racing tactics better, which also plays a part in his on-track performances. However, there is one aspect about his age that teammate Russell seemingly does not understand.

While discussing the topic of skincare with the seven-time F1 World Champion, Russell asked him about his wrinkles, mentioning that he has more than him despite the age gap between them. Hamilton responded to his query with a hilarious joke as the fans broke into laughter.

Russell: "I need to know your secret I’ve got more wrinkles than-"
Hamilton: "Black don't crack."

The 2024 F1 United States GP weekend is underway. All the top-performing teams (except for Ferrari) have introduced upgrades to their cars. Mercedes has also brought some major new parts to the car, in fact, the changes in the inlet and sidepods could be seen clearly in the garage.

While his teammate will start the Sprint race in the front row from P2, Hamilton could only qualify P7 after a yellow flag interrupted his final flying lap. However, he feels confident with the car and the upgrades.

Despite his qualifying position, Lewis Hamilton is confident with the car. Discussing his result with Sky Sports, he stated that he got "unlucky" with the yellow flag which forced him to slow down during his lap.

At the same time, he is confident about the rest of the weekend with the W15.

"I just got unlucky with a yellow flag," Lewis Hamilton told Sky Sports. "It is what it is - I was four-tenths up. It is what it is. The good thing is that the team has made a good step with the car. The upgrade has fully worked and I am grateful to everyone back in the factory for their hard work over this period of time. It has been a tough slog for everyone to get the upgrade and make sure they are working. Tomorrow we have another shot."

The Briton is racing in his final six races with Mercedes. After winning six World Championships and having broken multiple records in the past decade with the team, he will depart next season. Andrea Kimi Antonelli is set to replace him.

Lewis Hamilton is set to join Ferrari in 2025, and will partner Charles Leclerc. The two will look to lead the Italian team to its first World Championship in 16 years.
