Days after attending Taylor Swift's concert in Italy, Pierre Gasly confirmed that he is now a 'Swiftie.' Gasly attended Swift's Eras Tour concert in Milan recently with fellow F1 driver Charles Leclerc.

Gasly and Leclerc were spotted in Milan with their girlfriends, Francisca Cerqueira Gomes, and Alexandra Saint Mleux. Saint Mleux is a big-time Taylor Swift fan, so its no wonder the Ferrari driver decided to attend the concert.

Accompanying him, the Alpine star also took his girlfriend with him and now considers himself to be a Swiftie (Fans of Taylor Swift are generally referred to as 'Swifties'). The Frenchman said when asked if he had become a Swiftie:

"I guess I am now. It was an incredible experience."

Interestingly, it isn't just Pierre Gasly who has announced himself as a fan of Taylor Swift. Recently, Nico Rosberg also admitted that he is now a 'Swiftie' after attending her concert in London last month with his wife, Vivian Sibold Rosberg.

Taylor Swift is on a year-long Eras Tour around the world. It began in March last year, and will cover over 152 destinations across five continents.

Milan was the latest center of attraction for the tour, and the two-day show was reportedly attended by more than 160,000 fans. The Globetrotting spectacle is expected to generate over $1 billion in revenue. The Eras Tour will come to an end in December this year.

Pierre Gasly also went on to reveal the most important criterion for being his teammate at Alpine. The French driver stated that his future teammate should be a "strong benchmark."

"I don’t care, I just [want] one of the fastest guys out there," Gasly told the media ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix. "Always want a strong benchmark. I’ve had strong teammates in the past and Esteban is strong, and hopefully, we can replace him with the strongest and fastest driver out there.”
“Honestly, I’m not ready to focus on that,” he added. “I’m prepared and willing to deliver my best to the team, regardless of who is next to me. I think the team has some good options and, as I said, I want the fastest guy.”

Gasly's teammate Esteban Ocon is set to leave Alpine and will join Haas in 2025. On the other hand, Alpine are yet to announce their second driver for next season.
