Lando Norris recently shared a post about his own grandstand at the 2025 F1 British GP selling out extremely quickly. He posted his grandstand's promotion post on his Instagram stories and wrote about how it was already sold out.

After the 2024 F1 British GP, Silverstone's track team honored Norris by naming a grandstand in his name. They uniquely named the grandstand 'Landostand'. On the official Silverstone website, the event hosts wrote that fans would receive free merchandise, driver interaction from Norris himself, and other events and entertainment all included in the ticket price itself.

The ticket sale for Landostand for the 2025 F1 British GP went live on September 25, 2024. Lando Norris posted a picture of himself sitting in the stands and announced the ticket sales. He expressed that he was excited to see 10,000 fans cheering for him from the Stowe corner.

Around an hour after the tickets went live, Lando Norris himself reported that all of them were already sold out. He posted an Instagram story about it, saying:

"It's sold out. wtf."

In the 2024 F1 British GP, Norris secured P3 place while fellow Brit Lewis Hamilton managed to win the race and break his 945-day winless drought.

However, Lando Norris has taken a massive step forward in 2024, as he is one of the main title contenders. With McLaren closing the gap to Red Bull, Norris has been putting pressure on defending world champion Max Verstappen. McLaren's resurgence allowed the Brit to win the first three races of his career in 2024 as of now.

Lando Norris laments for not winning the 2024 British GP

Lando Norris blamed himself for a poor race at Silverstone in 2024 but was still happy with the overall result. Speaking to F1.com, he initially blamed himself for some of the decisions that were made, which cost him the lead in the race. However, the McLaren driver tried to look towards the positives and expressed how he would want a perfect weekend at his home race.

"I blame myself today for not making some of the right decisions, but I hate it. I hate ending up in this position and ever having excuses for not doing a good enough job, but I’m still happy. I’m still going to enjoy it," Norris said.
“I think we still did so many things right, so many positives. But especially here at Silverstone, the one place I would love for everything to go perfectly. It didn’t today, but I’m going to come back stronger next year and try again,” he added.

As of now, Norris stands in second place with 279 points, while Max Verstappen continues to lead the championship with 331 points.
