McLaren's star driver and 2024 title contender Lando Norris has partnered with Ralph Lauren. The young Briton has been announced as the face of the luxury brand's all-new 'Polo Red' fragrance.

Norris began his Formula 1 career with McLaren in 2019. The 24-year-old racer has since become an integral part of the Woking-based team. Now in his sixth season with the Papaya Orange squad, Norris has been able to maximize results with an upgraded McLaren MCL38 race car. Winning three races (Miami, Zandvoort, and Singapore) and clinching eight podium finishes in the 18 races so far, he has managed to reduce the gap to the championship leader Max Verstappen to just 52 points.

This rise in performance in the 2024 F1 season has likely caught the eye of the luxury brand Ralph Lauren. The New York City-based 57-year-old company has welcomed the British driver to the 'Ralph Lauren Fragrances' family as a brand ambassador for a new ‘POLO RED’ line-up. The new perfume is available in 45, 75, and 125 ml sizes.

Norris shared the news on Instagram. Here's a look at the reel jointly posted by the F1 racer and Ralph Lauren Fragrances:

"In racing, it's all or nothing. You're driven by the desire to win. Push past your limits. Where others can only imagine. Design your dreams. Polo Red.Ralph Lauren," Norris said (0:01 onwards).
“It’s been an honor to partner with Ralph Lauren Fragrances on a campaign that reflects how I feel when I race. ‘POLO RED’ feels like the moment just before a race, when my helmet goes on, the adrenaline kicks in, and it’s time to go," he commented, as reported by Vmagazine.com.

“Max is probably the hardest guy to race on the track,” - Lando Norris praises reigning world champion Max Verstappen as the championship battle edges towards the finale

Although Max Verstappen and Lando Norris are engaged in a close battle for the 2024 World Championship title, both share excellent camaraderie off the race track. In a recent interview with The Athletic, the young Briton praised the reigning world champion for his racecraft and awareness during races.

"Max is probably the hardest guy to race on the track. He’s probably one of the most aware in terms of situations. And helped by him being in this position for the last four or five years. For me, it’s still quite new," Norris commented.
"I like Max as a guy, I think he’s a very genuine guy. But that doesn’t change anything when I’m on the track," he added.

With six more races to go, the battle between Verstappen and Norris for the 2024 title is likely to continue till the end of the season in Abu Dhabi in December.
