Ferrari's star driver Charles Leclerc has been spotted holding hands with his girlfriend Alexandra Saint-Mluex. The couple were seen together during their vacation at Portofino.

After a relatively hectic race weekend at Singapore's Marina Bay Street Circuit, Leclerc has taken some time off from training ahead of the upcoming US Grand Prix at COTA. The young Monegasque racer attended his brother Lorenzo's engagement at Monte Carlo, along with his girlfriend Saint-Mluex and pet dog Leo.

Leclerc shared a couple of pictures of the entire family enjoying dinner at Monte Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, one of the finest hotels in Monaco. Here's a look at the post from his Instagram page, captioned:

With the F1 still on break, the couple decided to continue their vacation by heading to the picturesque harbor town of Portofino on the Italian Riviera. Although Leclerc tried to hide behind a large hat, the presence of Saint-Mluex made it clear to the media and Formula 1 fans that the Ferrari driver with the number 16 was in town.

Pictures of the couple holding hands were shared on an X page dedicated to global celebrities. Here's a look at the post, captioned:

With six more races left in the 2024 season, Leclerc is currently third on the driver's table. He is 86 and 34 points behind Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen and McLaren's Lando Norris, respectively.

“It’s mixed feelings,” - Charles Leclerc claims his qualifying mistake made his Singapore race difficult

After a second-place finish in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc was likely looking at maximizing the result in the Singapore GP. However, a mistake during the Q3 (qualifying) session saw him end the session in ninth place.

While pushing for the final flying lap, Leclerc exceeded track limits, thereby deleting his best and only time of the Q3 session. Despite starting in a lowly P9, the 26-year-old racer managed to end the race in fifth position.

During the post-race media interaction, Leclerc spoke about how his mistake affected his weekend.

“It’s mixed feelings. Today I think we did a really, really good job and I think there wasn’t anything on the table to do better. We had a frustrating first part of the race where we couldn’t do anything but just wait, and then once Nico and Fernando pitted I could push," Leclerc said.
“With hindsight, I think I was probably the one to blame yesterday, and it happens – there will be qualifying that we do well and qualifyings where you do a mistake, especially when you have only one lap and then you pay the price," he added.

The 26-year-old ended the conversation by stating he "will bounce back" during the US Grand Prix weekend.
