Alpine have found their replacement for Esteban Ocon for next season. Australian prodigy Jack Doohan is set to partner Pierre Gasly in the 2025 F1 season according to reports in Italy. Doohan is currently serving as Alpine F1's reserve driver.

Doohan, the son of MotoGP legend Mick Doohan, could become the third rookie on the grid next season. Oliver Bearman will partner the guy Doohan is replacing next season. Moreover, his F2 teammate Kimi Antonelli is strongly linked to joining the grid in 2025 as well.

Jack Doohan competed in the 2023 F2 season with Invicta Virtuosi Racing. He managed to finish third in the constructors standing behind Frederik Vesti and champion Theo Pourchaire. The Australian driver also took the wheel of Alpine's A522 to test it at Silverstone yesterday.

The 21-year-old also participated in two FP sessions this year when he replaced Esteban Ocon in Canada and Pierre Gasly in the UK. Meanwhile, a few days ago, Esteban Ocon confirmed he will be joining Haas.

Esteban Ocon reacts to his Haas move and reworking with Ayao Komatsu next season

Haas confirmed the signing of Esteban Ocon to replace Kevin Magnussen for the 2025 F1 season. The move comes as a big boost for the American team's ambition to climb up the midfield ladder in the constructor's championship.

Esteban Ocon is an established F1 driver having won one race in his career. The arrival of a GP winner will certainly help the Kannapolis team to fight for more points consistently next season.

The newest Haas recruit said:

"I’ll be joining a very ambitious racing team, whose spirit, work ethic, and undeniable upward trajectory has really impressed me. I’d like to thank Gene Haas and Ayao Komatsu for their trust and support, and for our honest and fruitful discussions these last few months."
"On a more personal note, I’m very happy to be working with Ayao again, as he’s been a part of my debut when I first stepped into a Formula 1 car during my Lotus Junior days more than 10 years ago."

The Frenchman's move to Haas means the American team have now replaced both their drivers from the current lineup. It will be worth watching how Ocon gels and performs alongside F1 rookie Oliver Bearman, who impressed many with his debut in the second race of the season.

Ocon's history with his teammates has been anything but straightforward. Team Principal Ayao Komatsu will have a big task on his hands to handle his new drivers and perform next season.
