On Sunday, the McLaren F1 garage had a renowned name rooting for the team ahead of the 2024 United States Grand Prix. Joe Rogan, the popular podcaster and UFC commentator was the man who made an appearance for Zak Brown's team as the pinnacle form of motorsport ventured into Austin, Texas this weekend.

Joseph James Rogan, popularly known as Joe Rogan, is an American actor, comedian, podcaster, commentator, and former television host. He is popular for The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, where he discusses current events, politics, and world affairs with celebrity guests.

Rogan, who is worth $200 million (as per Celebrity Net Worth), wore a white full-sleeved shirt, denim jeans, and brown shoes. The McLaren F1 team's official X handle uploaded two photos of him standing and sitting on a tire beside one of the MCL38s.

"Welcome to the McLaren garage, @joerogan! #UnitedStatesGP," McLaren wrote in the caption of the post.

McLaren will hope to extend its lead in the constructors' championship at Austin. Lando Norris started his race from pole position, and Norris' teammate Oscar Piastri began from P5.

Compared to McLaren, Red Bull's Max Verstappen started from the front row (P2). Whereas, Sergio Perez, the other Red Bull driver, started from P9 (he qualified P10, but improved a position after Russell's pitlane start).

Following the United States GP Sprint on Saturday, Lando Norris shared a worrying update about the MCL38. Norris, who finished the Sprint in P3, revealed that the Papaya cars are not the fastest around the Circuit of The Americas.

“Yeah, we’re a bit slower than the past weekends – just because the others are quicker,” Norris told the media. “Everyone thinks we’ve had easily the quickest car for months now, that’s not the case at all."
“We’ve just come to a race that suits their cars a bit more than us, and we’re slowest of the four [top teams]. It’s just the way it is, I don’t think it’s something to worry about. It’s just Formula 1, we’ll work hard to improve.”

McLaren currently has a 39-point cushion over Red Bull after 18 races and four Sprints. Ferrari has closed in on Red Bull as well, as it is 30 points behind the Austrian team, making it a three-way battle with five races to go after the US GP.
