Is Ninjutsu Inscription: Dazzling Evilbreaker worth pulling in Honkai Star Rail?

Before we discuss the pull value of the newest Galaxy Ranger’s signature Light Cone, let's take a look at what it can do when it's given to an Erudition character:

  • When wielded by an Erudition character, the unit gains a passive 60% Break Effect boost. When engaging in a battle, the wielder receives 30 Energy. Additionally, after the user triggers their ultimate, they receive the “Ration” buff that advances their action by 50% when they use their Basic ATK twice.

Now, let's discuss whether you should pull for this Light Cone or not:

You can pull for Ninjutsu Inscription: Dazzling Evilbreaker during the first phase of Honkai Star Rail 2.6. If you are going to pull for Rappa when her banner goes live and you have enough Stellar Jades to spare, then you should definitely pull for this LC.

Even if you are not pulling for Rappa in version 2.6, you can still roll for this 5-star piece of gear. If not equipped on the Galaxy Ranger, you can use this 5-star Light Cone on either Himeko or Qingque.

Himeko can use the extra Break Effect stat handed out by the gear and deal some extra damage while inflicting Weakness Break. The more you stack this status effect the more quickly Himeko can accumulate points of Charge and trigger her follow-up attack mechanic.

Moving over to Qingque, her main source of outgoing damage is her Basic Attack. While the Break Effect bonus of Ninjutsu Inscription: Dazzling Evilbreaker will not amplify her overall damage, it can garner a decent bit of damage when inflicting Weakness Break. Moreover, the action advancement of the Light Cone helps Qingque in Honkai Star Rail since she mostly uses her Basic Attack when engaged in a fight.
