Vitality Blast 2024: Full schedule, squads, match timings, and live-streaming details

Vitality Blast 2024 is the domestic T20 competition organized by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). The tournament is scheduled to start on Thursday, May 30, and will conclude on Saturday, September 14.

A total of 18 teams divided into two groups will take part in the tournament. Here is how the teams are grouped:

North Group: Lancashire, Nottinghamshire, Durham, Warwickshire, Yorkshire, Worcestershire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, and Leicestershire

South Group: Middlesex, Essex, Kent, Hampshire, Surrey, Glamorgan, Somerset, Sussex, and Gloucestershire

A total of 22 venues have been selected to host 129 matches this season. The semi-finals and the final of the season are scheduled to take place at Edgbaston in Birmingham.

This will be the 22nd edition of the Vitality Blast. Leicestershire and Hampshire have been the most successful teams in the history of the tournament. Both the teams have won the tournament thrice.

Somerset won the last edition of the Vitality Blast. It was Somerset’s second title and the first since 2005. Somerset defeated Essex in the final by 14 runs after posting a total of 145 runs on the board. Matt Henry took four wickets in 3.3 overs for 24 runs and won the Player of the Match award.
