TNPL 2024: How did the IPL players fare in IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans vs Trichy Grand Cholas, Match 26? ft. R Sai Kishore & T Natarajan

Trichy Grand Cholas won the toss and elected to bowl against IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans in the 26th match. The match was played on Saturday, July 27, at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul.

Maan Bafna and S Ganesh had a decent outing with the bat for the Tiruppur Tamizhans. Bafna scored 50 runs off 35 deliveries, while Ganesh made 39 runs off 37 deliveries. Both batters helped the team post a total of 169 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs.

Athisayaraj Davidson was the pick of the bowlers for the Grand Cholas and took four wickets for 32 runs in four overs. K Easwaran, G Godson, and Sanjay Yadav picked one wicket each for the Grand Cholas.

The Grand Cholas lost three wickets in the powerplay and scored 31 runs. P Nirmal Kumar and Sanjay Yadav added 46 runs for the fourth wicket. Then, they lost the wicket of Sanjay and Jafar Jamal in the 11th over.

They gave away their last five wickets for just 18 runs and were bundled out for 122 runs in 16.5 overs. As a result, Tiruppur Tamizhans won the match by 47 runs.

T Natarajan and Ajith Ram picked three wickets each for the Tiruppur Tamizhans. Sai Kishore picked two wickets, while P Bhuvaneswaran and Mohamed Ali took one wicket each for the Tiruppur Tamizhans. Natarajan won the Player of the Match award for his bowling performance.

Sai Kishore, the skipper of Tiruppur Tamizhans was dismissed after scoring one run off four deliveries. With the ball, he picked up two wickets for 29 runs in four overs.


T Natarajan (IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans)

Natarajan took three wickets for six runs in three overs. His bowling performance helped him win the Player of the Match award.


Sanjay Yadav (Trichy Grand Cholas)

Sanjay took one wicket for 34 runs in his spell of four overs. He made 16 runs off 13 deliveries as well.
