The Hundred 2024 has begun in England and Wales. The fourth edition has kickstarted on July 23. A total of eight teams are competing for the title, with the final scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 18.
A total of 34 matches will be played in the ongoing edition of The Hundred. The 100-ball tournament will be played across eight venues. The group stages will be played from July 23 to August 15. The Eliminator and the final will be played on August 17 and August 18, respectively.
The Sophia Gardens in Cardiff is one of the eight venues of The Hundred 2024. It is the home ground of Welsh Fire who had a decent season last year. They won four games out of eight but failed to qualify for the playoffs after missing out on net run rate.
Welsh Fire will play their first home game on Sunday, July 28, against the Oval Invincibles. They will then host Southern Brave, Northern Superchargers and Birmingham Phoenix on August 5, August 8 and August 10, respectively.
