Lord’s, London pitch report

The surface at Lord’s is conducive to the fast bowlers. The new-ball bowlers are expected to get a good amount of assistance from the surface. They can even use the slope to their advantage and trouble the batters.

The spinners won’t get much purchase from the surface. The batters will need to adapt to the conditions before taking on the opposition’s bowlers. Anything above 165 will be a good total to defend at this iconic venue.
