The T20 Spring Challenge 2024 promises to be an exhilarating cricket tournament and will be conducted by Cricket Australia. It will be held in Sydney and Adelaide, and the tournament serves as a prelude to the 10th edition of the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL), which takes place in October and November. This competition was designed to ensure that there would be no reduction in women’s domestic matches following the shortening of the WBBL season.
The T20 Spring Challenge features nine teams, with each team playing four group-stage matches. After the round-robin stage, the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals, which will be held on Saturday, October 19, followed by the final on Sunday, October 20.
The tournament will consist of 21 matches, including both the semi-finals and the final, ensuring a packed schedule of high-quality cricket. This competition not only offers thrilling matches but also serves as a platform for aspiring players to demonstrate their skills and prepare for the much-anticipated WBBL season.
