Pakistan A vs Bangladesh A Test Series 2024: Full schedule, squads and match timings

The Bangladesh A side are all set to tour Pakistan for a multi-format series, starting from August 13. It comprises two four-day games and three 50-over games. The tour will get over on August 30.

The multi-format series was originally scheduled to begin on August 10. But it was pushed back due to the political turmoil in Bangladesh as the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) postponed Bangladesh A’s departure.

The tour will now begin on Tuesday, August 13, with a four-day match. The second four-day game will begin on August 20. The three-match One-Day series will follow the four-day games. The three games will be played on August 26, 28 and 30.

The Islamabad Club will be hosting all games of the series between Pakistan A and Bangladesh A. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has named a strong squad to face Bangladesh A. Saud Shakeel has been handed as the captain of the side.

The likes of Mir Hamza, Mohammad Huraira, Naseem Shah, Sarfaraz Ahmed, and Saad Khan have plenty of experience and will play a key role for Pakistan A. After the first game is over, the eight Test probables will join the Test squad and their replacements will soon be named by PCB.

Bangladesh A, on the other hand, will be led by Anamul Haque Bijoy. Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib are the other prominent players in the side who will have to do the heavy-lifting in the series.
