They helped England reach 165 runs for the loss of four wickets. Harbhajan Singh took two wickets for 16 runs in three overs for India Champions.
Robin Uthappa provided a solid start to India, scoring 50 runs off 32 deliveries. Gurkeerat Singh Mann made a quick-fire 33 off 17 deliveries. They helped India win the match by three wickets in 19 overs. Chris Schofield was the pick of the bowlers and took four wickets for 33 runs in four overs.
In the second match, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl against Australia. Aaron Finch made 68 runs off 40 deliveries and helped the team post 189 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Shoaib Malik and Shahid Afridi took two wickets each for Pakistan.
Pakistan lost their first two wickets for 24 runs and were then reduced to 79/4 after 8.3 overs. Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq added 90 runs for the fifth wicket. Younis scored 63 runs off 41 deliveries, while Misbah remained unbeaten on 46 runs off 30 deliveries.
Pakistan won the match by five wickets in 19.4 overs. Brett Lee and Nathan Coulter-Nile took two wickets each for Australia.
