England Champions took on Australia Champions in the seventh match of the World Championship of Legends 2024 on Saturday, July 6. Batting first, England Champions managed to score 160 for the loss of nine wickets.

Ian Bell was the top scorer with 45 off 30 balls; Ravi Bopara (22) and Owais Shah (25) also made decent contributions.

Australian captain Brett Lee once again led the way with the ball as he picked up three wickets in his three overs. Ben Laughlin and Dan Christian returned with two wickets each as well.

Australia Champions made a mockery of the run-chase as they reached the target in just 14 overs. Aaron Finch was the standout performer with the bat, scoring 56 off 23 balls. Shaun Marsh was also brilliant with his knock of 42 off 26 balls.

In the second game of the day, India Champions squared off against Pakistan Champions. The Indian bowlers had no answers to the batting onslaught produced by Pakistan's batters.

Pakistan Champions blazed their way to a massive score of 243 in the first innings. Kamran Akmal (77 off 40) and Sharjeel Khan (72 off 30) gave their team a rollicking start before Sohaib Maqsood chipped in with 51 off 26 balls. Shoaib Malik gave the finishing touches to the innings with an unbeaten 25 off 18.

India made a solid start in pursuit of the target. However, with the required rate climbing drastically, they lost wickets at regular intervals and ended up losing the match by 68 runs.

Aaron Finch sits atop the run charts in the World Championship of Legends with 173 runs in three matches at an average of 57.67. Sharjeel Khan takes the second spot with 124 runs in three matches. Ian Bell moved into third place with 122 runs, while Gurkeerat Singh is in fourth with 120 runs.

At number five is Phil Mustard with 117 runs, followed by Robin Uthappa with 115 runs at number six. The seventh position in the runs tally is currently occupied by Shaun Marsh (107) while Shoaib Malik sits in eighth (102).

The top 10 are rounded off by Sohaib Maqsood (94) and Ben Dunk (93), respectively.

With seven wickets in three games, Brett Lee is the leading wicket-taker in the World Championship of Legends. Sohail Tanvir has moved into second place with six wickets, while Wahab Riaz is in third.

The fourth and fifth positions are occupied by Chris Schofield (6) and Ravi Bopara (5), respectively. Owais Shah is at number six with five wickets, while Nathan Coulter-Nile is seventh.

Xavier Doherty has five wickets in three games and finds himself in the eighth spot, while the ninth and 10th spots are occupied by Shoaib Malik (5) and Shahid Afridi (5), respectively.
