The 12th and 13th matches of the World Championship of Legends 2024 took place on Tuesday. England took on West Indies in the first match of the day at Northampton. Kevin Pietersen (42 off 19) and Ian Bell (97 off 64) starred with the bat as England blazed their way to 209.

For the West Indies, Jerome Taylor bowled great lengths and returned with a decent spell of 27-1 in four overs. Despite scoring a sizeable total, England couldn’t defend it.

Both West Indies openers departed cheaply, but Chadwick Walton stood up and played a match-winning knock of 85 off 42. Later, Jason Mohammed (32 off 24) and Ashley Nurse (47 off 25) played handy knocks to help the team chase down their target in 19.3 overs.

In the second match of the day, South Africa took on Pakistan at the same ground. Batting first, Pakistan amassed 210-4. Sharjeel Khan starred with the bat with a spectacular knock of 72 off 36.

Maqsood (24) and Afridi (20 off 10) were guilty of not converting their starts, but Shoaib Malik unleashed a brilliant unbeaten 51-run knock off 26 balls to guide his team to a formidable score.

As for South Africa’s bowlers, Dale Steyn returned figures of 24-1 in four overs. South Africa didn’t break a sweat while chasing down the score. Jacques Synman (82 off 47) and Sarel Erwee (105 off 57) played unbeaten knocks to help chase down the target in 18.3 overs.

Ian Bell is comfortably atop the Legends run charts with 230 runs. Sharjeel Khan is second with 209 runs, while Shoaib Malik is third with 204 runs in five games.

The fourth spot is occupied by Sohaib Maqsood with 182 runs, while Aaron Finch is fifth with 180 runs. Chadwick Walton is sixth with 158 runs.

The seventh and eighth spots are occupied by the likes of Shaun Marsh (148) and Phil Mustard (147), respectively. Robin Uthappa is ninth with 127 runs, while Gurkeerat Singh Mann rounds off the top-10 with 120 runs.

Sohail Tanvir is fourth with six wickets, while Ravi Bopara is fifth position with six wickets. Wahab Riaz is sixth spot with six wickets, while Shoaib Malik is seventh with six wickets.

The eighth and ninth spots are occupied by the likes of Xavier Doherty (5) and Ashley Nurse (5), respectively. Owais Shah rounds off the top-10 with five wickets.
