Women's T20 World Cup 2024 Most Wickets List updated after Bangladesh vs West Indies

Bangladesh Women and West Indies Women met in the 13th Women's T20 World Cup 2024 match at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah, on Thursday, October 10.

West Indies opted to bowl in a must-win game at Sharjah. They were right on the money with the ball restricting Bangladesh to 103/8. Karishma Ramharack delivered an outstanding performance as she took four wickets in her four overs, giving away just 17 runs. Afy Fletcher got two wickets whereas Hayley Matthews chipped in with a wicket. Skipper Nigar Sultana was the only bright spot for Bangladesh with her fighting 39 (44) knock.

The West Indies' chase was as easy as it could get. Captain Hayley gave the perfect start with a brilliant knock of 34 runs off 22 balls. Other batters chipped in with valuable knocks as they chased the total comfortably in 12.5 overs to win by eight wickets.

Laura Wolvaardt (141), Tazmin Brits (113), and Harmanpreet Kaur (96) retained their top three positions. Sobhana Mostary moved from sixth to fourth with 96 runs while Danni Wyatt (84), Beth Mooney (83), and Shafali Verma (77) dropped one spot each.

Stafanie Taylor (75) and Nigar Sultana (72) jumped to eighth and ninth positions, respectively. Marizanne Kapp (69) slipped to the 10th position.

Nonkululeko Mlaba and Arundhati Reddy are still ranked in the top positions with eight and seven wickets, respectively. Similarly, Megan Schutt and Rosemary Mair hold the next two positions with six wickets. Amelia Kerr is also ranked fifth with five wickets.

Karishma Ramharack picked up a four-fer and secured the sixth position with five wickets. Asha Sobhana and Renuka Singh descended to the following two positions with five wickets. Meanwhile, Afy Fletcher (5) took two wickets and moved to ninth while Fatima Sana (4) dropped to 10th spot.
