Team India thumped Bangladesh by 133 runs at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday, October 12, in the third and final T20I of the series. With the huge win, the Men in Blue completed a 3-0 pounding of Bangladesh. They had earlier won the Test series 2-0.
The hosts batted first after winning the toss in Hyderabad and posted a mammoth 297-6, their highest total in T20I and the second-highest ever in the format. After failures in the first two games, Sanju Samson came to the party, clobbering 111 off just 47 balls, his maiden T20I ton that featured 11 fours and eight sixes.
Skipper Suryakumar Yadav smashed 75 off 35, while Hardik Pandya (47 off 18) and Riyan Parag (34 off 13) also made handy contributions. In their chase, Bangladesh were held to 164-7 as Ravi Bishnoi claimed 3-30 and Mayank Yadav 2-32. Following the T20Is against Bangladesh, India will host New Zealand for three Tests from October 16 to November 5.

India's next match after the T20I series against Bangladesh will be the first Test against New Zealand, which will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru from October 16 to October 20.
The second Test of the series will be held at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune from October 24 to October 28. The series will conclude with the third and final Test at the Wankhede in Mumbai from November 1 to November 5. All the three Test matches will begin at 9:30 a.m. IST.

India's squad for Test series against New Zealand
Rohit Sharma has been retained as captain of the Indian team for the three-match Test series at home against the Kiwis. Seasoned fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been named as vice-captain, but fellow pacer Mohammed Shami, who's recuperating following a surgery earlier this year, hasn't been included.
From the 16-member squad that was named for the Bangladesh series, left-arm pacer Yash Dayal has been left out. Rest of the 15 players have retained their place. Harshit Rana, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Mayank Yadav and Prasidh Krishna have been named as the travelling reserves.
