The fixtures for the West Indies' upcoming white-ball tour of Sri Lanka have been announced by the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Friday, September 27. The Men in Maroon will be facing the hosts in a three-match T20I series followed by three ODIs.

The Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium in Dambulla will play host to the T20Is, with the ODIs taking place at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy. The tour kicks off with the first T20I on October 13 while the next two fixtures will be held on October 15 and 17.

Also, the ODI series opener is on October 20 after which the two sides will face each other in the remaining clashes on October 23 and 26, 2024.

Here's the complete schedule:

Sri Lanka are in a commanding position against New Zealand in the Test series

Currently, Sri Lanka are up against the visiting New Zealand side in a two-match Test series. Dhananjaya de Silva's men have already won the first Test match at the Galle International Stadium by a margin of 63 runs to go 1-0 up in the series.

At the stumps on Day 2 of the ongoing second Test match in Galle, they are in a commanding position to whitewash the series 2-0. With centuries from Dinesh Chandimal, Kamindu Mendis and Kusal Mendis, they piled up 602 runs at the loss of just five wickets before declaring their first innings. In reply, the Blackcaps are struggling at 22-2, trailing by 580 runs, with three days of play remaining in the Test match.

Meanwhile, the West Indies recently hosted South Africa in a two-match Test series and three T20Is. While the Proteas clinched the Test series 1-0, Rovman Powell's men whitewashed South Africa 3-0 in the T20Is. The two-time T20 world champions, who proved too good for the runners-up of the 2024 T20 World Cup, will be hoping to replicate their form against the Lankans as well during their tour.
