India Champions star Harbhajan Singh celebrated his 44th birthday on July 3 in Birmingham. Singh was in action in the afternoon, playing for the India Champions against the England Champions in the World Championship of Legends 2024 tournament opener at Edgbaston.
Even though he retired in 2021, Harbhajan Singh produced a fantastic performance with the ball and bat against England Champions. He bowled an excellent spell of 2/16 off three overs, dismissing Phil Mustard and Ravi Bopara.
Later in the match, Harbhajan Singh walked out to bat at number nine and smashed a six on the first ball he faced to help India Champions reach 166/7 and win the match by three wickets with an over to spare. After the game, Harbhajan's teammates Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina celebrated his birthday by applying cake on his face.

Can Harbhajan Singh help India Champions win the inaugural World Championship of Legends?
The World Championship of Legends 2024 competition started on Wednesday in Birmingham with an exciting double-header contest. India Champions beat home side England Champions in the first game of the tournament. As mentioned ahead, Harbhajan played a match-winning role for India Champions, taking two wickets and scoring six runs.
His captain Yuvraj Singh praised him with the following message on X after the match ended:

Harbhajan and Yuvraj will return to the field on Friday for a match against West Indies Champions, followed by a blockbuster clash against Pakistan Champions on Saturday. It will be interesting to see if Yuvraj and Harbhajan can help India Champions win the title.
