Team India's Yashasvi Jaiswal grabbed a one-handed stunner in the fourth innings of the ongoing first Test against Bangladesh at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The youngster's catch gave the hosts their first breakthrough as Zakir Hasan departed for 33 runs in pursuit of the mammoth 515-run target.

Bangladesh made a solid start in their second time of asking with the bat. The opening pair of Zakir Hasan and Shadman Islam had frustrated India by negotiating the testing phase of play before tea. The pair began the final session in a solid fashion as well, slowly building a commanding opening partnership.

In the 15th over, Bumrah enticed Zakir Hasan to play the drive with a fullish delivery just outside the off stump. The left-handed batter gave into the temptation and attempted the stroke, but the ball claimed a thick edge and flew behind him.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, stationed at gully, had to react quickly to the ball zooming towards him. It almost went past Jaiswal, but he managed to stick out his strong left arm just in time to pluck the ball inches off the ground and complete the catch.

Have a look at the stunning take right here:

Zakir Hasan departed after scoring a solid 33 runs off 47 deliveries to help Bangladesh put on 62 runs for the first wicket. His knock included five fours and a six.

Yashasvi Jaiswal had taken a sharp catch in the slip cordon during the home series against England earlier this year

Jaiswal is slowly developing into a reliable presence in the slip contingent following a number of sharp catches. He had claimed a sharp reflect catch against Joe Root's attempted reverse lap shot off Jasprit Bumrah's bowling in the third Test in Rajkot.

Team India's fielding has been sharp in the first Test so far. Mohammed Siraj pulled off a brilliant diving save after misjudging the ball in the 19th over. Shubman Gill continued the act with a good catch to seal Shadman Islam's dismissal in the 22nd over of the innings.

As of writing, Bangladesh are placed at 86-2 after 22 overs, with skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mominul Haque present at the crease.
