Team India and Tamil Nadu spin bowling all-rounder Washington Sundar scored his second first-class hundred for his state side during their Ranji Trophy match against Delhi on Day 2 (Saturday, October 19). The match is being played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

Walking in to bat at number three, Sundar and Sai Sudharsan played eye-catching strokes and ensured that Tamil Nadu keet scoring at a good rate in their second game. Sudharshan got to his double hundred (213) on Day 2 and Washington Sundar was only a boundary away from reaching three figures.

He was on strike against Delhi pacer Navdeep Saini and on the fourth ball of the 91st over, Sundar got a leading edge past the slip cordon, as the ball raced away to the third-man region for a boundary. Sundar took his helmet off to celebrate his ton and raised his bat to acknowledge his teammates.

Take a look at the moment below:

This is Washington Sundar's second ton in first-class cricket, with his first coming against Tripura back in 2017. In that game, he had opened the innings alongside Abhinav Mukund and scored 159 off 231 deliveries.
