Former Indian captain Virat Kohli and his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, were spotted at Krishna Das Kirtan in Mumbai on Sunday, October 20. The couple tied the knot in Tuscany, Italy, on December 11, 2017.

They have two children - their daughter Vamika, born on January 11, 2021, and their son Akaay, born on February 15, 2024.

On the auspicious occasion of Karva Chauth, the couple was seen having a great time at Krishna Das Kirtan, where they sat in the front row.

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old batter was in action during the first Test against New Zealand, where India suffered an eight-wicket defeat. After opting to bat first, India was dismissed for a mere 46 runs, their third-lowest total in Test history.

In response, Rachin Ravindra (134) led the Kiwis to a strong 402 runs, taking a commanding lead of 356. Devon Conway (91) and Tim Southee (65) also contributed significantly.

Rohit Sharma (52) and Virat Kohli (70) provided a solid start for India in their second innings, igniting a fightback. Sarfaraz Khan (150) and Rishabh Pant (99) delivered stellar performances, but the team faced another collapse, going from 408-3 to all out for 462, leaving them with a lead of just 106 runs.

Will Young (48*) and Ravindra (39*) ensured a comfortable eight-wicket victory for the visitors.


Virat Kohli became the fourth Indian to reach 9,000 Test runs

The ace batter was dismissed for a duck in the first innings against New Zealand. The Delhi-born cricketer found his rhythm in the second innings, scoring a brisk 70 off 102 balls, and in the process, he became only the fourth Indian to reach 9,000 Test runs.

Virat Kohli has accumulated 9,017 runs in 116 matches, averaging 48.74, with 31 fifties and 29 centuries. Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for the most runs, totaling 15,921 in 200 Tests. Rahul Dravid follows in second place with 13,265 runs in 163 games, while Sunil Gavaskar is third with 10,122 runs in 125 Tests.
