Stand-in captain Aaron Jones smashed a mammoth six off Alzarri Joseph in a clash between 2024 T20 World Cup co-hosts USA and the West Indies at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados on Friday, June 21 (as per local time).

The incident took place in the eighth over of the USA’s innings. Joseph bowled a length ball on off stump, and Jones picked it right from the middle of his bat. The right-hander hit it on the roof of the stands at long-on, leaving the pacer perplexed. The ball bounced out of the ground, and a new ball was called for.

Aaron Jones, however, failed to play a big knock, managing a run-a-ball 11 before being bowled by Roston Chase.
