Lyca Kovai Kings captain Shahrukh Khan was on fire against the Siechem Madurai Panthers as he scored a brilliant half-century in a Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) game on Tuesday, July 23. The 22nd match of TNPL 2024 pitted Lyca Kovai Kings against Siechem Madurai Panthers at the Indian Cement Company Ground in Tirunelveli.

After being asked to bat first, the Kovai Kings lost two wickets in the powerplay. Shahrukh Khan came to bat in the 13th over when Murugan Ashwin dismissed Sai Sudharsan on 34 runs.

Before departing, Shahrukh scored 51 runs off 26 balls, smashing two fours and five maximums, helping his team put a decent total on the board (163/9).
