Salman Agha slammed a six off Jack Leach to reach his half-century in the second Test between Pakistan and England in Multan on Day 3 (Thursday, October 17). The right-hander took the aerial route to get to the landmark.
The milestone came in the 52nd over of Pakistan’s second innings. Leach bowled a flighted delivery and Salman came charging down the track to go over long-off for a six. This was his ninth half-century in the format.

Salman Agha has been in brilliant form for Pakistan. He registered scores of an unbeaten 104 and 63, respectively, in the first Test against England. The Men in Green, however, lost the game by an innings and 47 runs. He then chipped in with 31 off 53 in the first innings in the second Test.
Salman Agha’s half-century helped Pakistan set a 297-run target for England in 2nd Test
A clinical batting display from Salman Agha helped Pakistan post 221 in the second innings against England. With that, they set a 297-run target for the visitors, having a 75-run first-innings lead. Saud Shakeel was the second-best batter, scoring 31 off 51, while Saim Ayub, Kamran Ghulam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Sajid Khan also chipped in their 20s.
Shoaib Bashir starred with the ball for England, returning with figures of 4/66, while Jack Leach bagged three wickets. Brydon Carse also bagged two wickets.
Batting first, Pakistan posted 366 in the first innings, thanks to a century from Kamran Ghulam (118 of 224). Jack Leach bagged four wickets for England, while Brydon Carse and Matthew Potts picked up three and two wickets apiece.
In response, England were bundled out for 291 in their first innings. Ben Duckett top scored with 114 off 129. Sajid Khan was the pick of the bowlers, picking up seven wickets for the Men in Green, while Noman Ali bagged three wickets.
At the time of writing, England were 5-1 in the run chase, with Zak Crawley and Ollie Pope at the crease. Duckett departed for a two-ball duck.
