In a video shared by the Rajasthan Royals on their official Instagram handle, skipper Sanju Samson can be seen practising under the watchful eyes of the franchise's newly appointed head coach, Rahul Dravid, at the Rajasthan Royals High Performance Centre in Nagpur. The 29-year-old is getting ready for the upcoming T20Is against Bangladesh after being named in India's 15-man squad for the three-match series.

Here's the video:

While the new Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior will host the series opener on Sunday, October 6, the next two fixtures will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday, October 9 and Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday, October 12.

Sanju Samson had poor outing during India's T20I series in Sri Lanka

Sanju Samson was recently seen in action at the 2024 Duleep Trophy where he represented India D. He played two matches for the Shreyas Iyer-led side which finished last among four teams on the points table. While he registered scores of 5 & 40 against India A in the first game, Sanju smashed a quick-fire century (106 off 101 balls) in the first innings before following it up with a 53-ball 45-run knock in the second innings during India D's 257-run victory against India B in Anantapur.

The wicketkeeper batter will be looking to make a strong comeback to the Indian T20I squad when they take on Bangladesh in the upcoming series. He had a poor outing with the bat the last time he played for the Men in Blue against hosts Sri Lanka in July. After missing the first T20I, Sanju Samson was dismissed without troubling the scorers in the second and third encounters in Pallekele. India whitewashed Sri Lanka 3-0 in that series before losing the ODIs 2-0.
