Pakistan cricketers recently interacted with kids in Florida. They flew to the city from New York for their final group match against Ireland in the T20 World Cup. The Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill will host the clash on Monday, June 17.

The Men in Green are currently third on the Group A points table. They lost against both India and the USA, who are above them. To qualify for the Super 8, Pakistan will be hoping for the USA to lose against Ireland on Friday. A washout or United States' win in the match would result in the group stage exit of Babar Azam-led team. Even if the USA loses, the Asian side has to win against Ireland on Monday to reach Super 8.

Ahead of their crucial match, Pakistan players met a few kids as part of the ICC Cricket 4 Good Clinic program in Florida. The cricketers interacted with the kids, signed autographs, and also played with them. PCB shared a video on Instagram to give a glimpse of it.

"Everyone is standing against them" - Mohammad Kaif empathizes with Pakistan team amidst criticism from fans and their former cricketers

Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif empathized with the Pakistan team as they are being criticized heavily by fans and their experts after a poor start in the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Kaif pointed out that Babar Azam's team did make a few mistakes in matches against the USA and India, which resulted in losses, but felt that the fans should back their team in tough times.

During a recent discussion on Star Sports, Mohammad Kaif said:

"The fans' prayers are not with them. There is a commotion there. Who is supporting them? Everyone is standing against them, whether you talk about their former players, I am watching everything, no one is supporting them, although they have played extremely badly. In the first match, Mohammad Amir was bowling wides in the Super Over. You lost that match because of bowling. In the next match, they couldn't chase 119."

He continued:

"I will say one more thing. Luck works in their favor at times where Pakistan qualifies when they are virtually out. We have seen that many times. They haven't played well but luck favors them. If the Ireland vs USA match happens and Ireland win and Pak win the next match, both will be at four points and it will go down to net run rate."
