Tanzim Hasan Shakib cleaned up Abhishek Sharma with a brilliant delivery in the ongoing second T20I between India and Bangladesh at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday, October 9. The southpaw departed for 15 runs off 11 balls after scoring three boundaries. With the dismissal, Bangladesh removed both the openers for just 25 runs after three overs.
The dismissal came in the third over of India’s innings. Tanzim bowled short of a length ball marginally outside the off stump and Abhishek tried to go across the line but dragged it onto the off-stump via a thick inside edge. The stump was uprooted, going for a toss.

Abhishek Sharma was previously run out for 16 runs off seven deliveries in the first T20I against the Bangla Tigers. The 24-year-old, however, had scored a century during the Zimbabwe tour in July.
Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson fail to deliver in IND vs BAN 2nd T20I
Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson failed to provide a good start for the hosts in the second T20I against Bangladesh. Samson, in particular, departed for 10 runs off seven balls. Skipper Suryakumar Yadav also failed to score big, managing just eight runs off 10 deliveries.
At the time of writing, the Men in Blue were 101/3 after 10 overs, with Rinku Singh (26 off 14) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (36 off 19) at the crease.
Team India are already leading the three-match T20I series 1-0 following a seven-wicket win over Bangladesh in the opening game in Gwalior. Another win will help Suryakumar Yadav and company complete back-to-back series wins for the World T20I champions after a 3-0 clean sweep in Sri Lanka in July. Meanwhile, Najmul Hossain Shanto-led Bangladesh would be keen to win the do-or-die contest to set up a decider.
The third or final T20I will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday, October 12.
