Musheer Khan showed sharp reflexes to dismiss Akash Deep on Day 4 of the Duleep Trophy match between India A and India B at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday, September 8. With the run-out, India B won the game by 76 runs. Akash departed for 43 runs off 42 balls, comprising four sixes and three boundaries.

The dismissal came in the 53rd over of India A’s second innings. Navdeep Saini bowled short of a length ball, which Akash Deep defended while being out of control. The latter couldn't track the trajectory of the ball as he looked to sneak a run when Musheer, at short leg, collected it and produced a brilliant direct hit. Akash Deep failed to get back his crease on time as India A were all out for 198 in the fourth innings while chasing 275.

Sharing the video, the BCCI captioned the post:

“Akash Deep's fighting knock of 43(42) comes to an end as he's run out by a quick-thinking Musheer Khan. India B beat India A by 76 runs. A fantastic win.”
