Texas Super Kings all-rounder Mitchell Santner hit a massive six on the stadium’s roof during their match against Seattle Orcas in the Major Cricket League (MLC) 2024 at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on Tuesday, July 23. The left-hander sent the ball out of the ground with his brilliant timing.
The maximum came in the 11th over of TSK’s innings. Ali Sheikh bowled a pitched-up delivery outside off and Santner got under it to launch it over long-off, as the ball sailed for a six over the stadium’s roof. Sharing the video on Instagram, MLC’s official handle wrote:

Texas Super Kings beat Seattle Orcas by 37 runs in MLC 2024
A clinical all-round display helped the Texas Super Kings beat the Seattle Orcas by 37 runs in MLC on Tuesday.
Asked to bat first, the Super Kings posted 177/8 in their allotted 20 overs. Calvin Savage starred with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 45 off 27 balls with the help of two sixes and six boundaries. Skipper Faf du Plessis and Milind Kumar also chipped in with scores of 39 (17) and 29 (18), respectively.
Ayan Desai and Keemo Paul were the leading wicket-takers for Seattle Orcas, returning with two wickets apiece, while Cameron Gannon, Nandre Burger, and Michael Bracewell bagged one each.
In response, Seattle Orcas managed 140-9 in 20 overs. Quinton de Kock (26 off 19), Shehan Jayasuriya (24 off 27), and Keemo Paul (25 off 17) got off to starts but failed to take the team over the line.
Ottniel Baartman emerged as the pick of Texas Super Kings bowlers, finishing with figures of 3/20, while Noor Ahmad and Calvin Savage bagged two wickets apiece.
Faf du Plessis' Texas Super Kings will next play against MI New York in MLC 2024 Eliminator. Seattle Orcas finished last in the points table with a solitary win in seven games.
