New Zealand pacer Matt Henry took an excellent running catch in the deep to dismiss Jasprit Bumrah in the second session on Day 2 of the first Test against India. The stunning take has taken the visitors closer to bowling out India for a record-low total at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Matt Henry ran riot after the Lunch Break, kickstarting things by dismissing R Ashwin for a golden duck off the first ball of the session. He followed it up by taking Rishabh Pant's wicket in the 26th over of the innings, and moving to fine leg for a breather amid an intense spell.

However, he was called into action only a couple of deliveries later after Bumrah attempted to awkwardly send a length delivery by William O'Rourke to the leg side. The tail ender's stroke caught the top edge, sending it behind square.

Henry was stationed quite fine by the leg side boundary, and had to sprint his way to meet the landing ball. The pacer covered 41 metres from fine leg, managing to reach just in time, and complete a slide to complete the catch in impressive fashion. Have a look at the catch right here:

Bumrah departed after scoring just one run off three deliveries, and his dismissal reduced India to 40-9 in the 27th over.

Matt Henry finishes with figures of 5-15 as India are bowled out for 46

The right-arm pacer was on point from the word go. His probing lines and lengths were aided by the conditions, and he was rewarded with breakthroughs on a consistent basis. He began his spell by dismissing Sarfaraz Khan, courtesy of a brilliant diving catch by Devon Conway. The pacer then went through the lower order to finish with a memorable five-wicket haul.

With a 46-run tally after opting to bat first, only two batters managed to record double figures. This marks the lowest total recorded by India on home soil, beating the 75-run total they had finished with against the West Indies in Delhi back in 1987.
