Liam Dawson bowled a sensational delivery to dismiss Ryan Higgins in the ongoing One Day Cup on Wednesday, August 14. Northwood hosted the game between Hampshire and Middlesex.

The dismissal came in the 38th over of Middlesex’s run chase. The left-arm spinner fired a length ball that changed its trajectory from leg stump to crash onto the off-stump as the right-handed batter completely missed the line of the ball. The batter probably expected the ball to go straight. Usually, such movement happens when the ball hits the cracks in the pitch.

“Ball of the tournament? Liam Dawson to Ryan Higgins. Play that.”
