Team India's KL Rahul pulled off a brilliant catch at leg slip to grant the side their first breakthrough on the final day of the second Test against Bangladesh at Green Park in Kanpur on Tuesday, October 1. The sharp take dismissed first-innings centurion Mominul Haque for just two runs as Ashwin claimed his third straight wicket.

Bangladesh began the final day cautiously after losing two late wickets on Day 4. In the third over of the session, Ashwin bowled a delivery drifting down the leg side, tempting the left-handed batter to play the sweep. Mominum obliged but failed to get past the alert KL Rahul at leg-slip.

The fielder had to react quickly, and he did so in time to get his hands right by his knee to claim the catch.
