Former Indian pacer Dhawal Kulkarni enjoyed a trip with India's ODI and Test side captain Rohit Sharma and Prashant Naik. The fast bowler shared the highlights from their outing via an Instagram reel.

Kulkarni has been close friends with Rohit Sharma for a long time. They have played for Mumbai, India, and Mumbai Indians together. While Kulkarni has retired from IPL and domestic cricket now, he continues to be associated with the sport as a commentator and a Legends League player.

Earlier this month, Kulkarni won the World Championship of Legends with India Champions, while Rohit led India to the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy last month in West Indies. It looks like the two close friends decided to celebrate their success with a short trip along with Prashant Naik.

Kulkarni labeled the trio as 'RPD' (initials of their names) and shared the following reel on Instagram earlier today.

Kulkarni used Kanye West's "Can't Tell Me Nothing" as the background theme for the Instagram reel. The post has received more than 3,000 likes and over 27,000 views inside an hour.

Rohit Sharma will return to the field next month in Sri Lanka

Captain Rohit Sharma enjoyed a short break from cricket this month. He celebrated the T20 World Cup triumph, had a family vacation and is now spending time with his close friends.

The Indian skipper will return to national duty next month when India take on Sri Lanka in a three-match ODI series. It will be Rohit's first ODI match since the heartbreaking defeat in the 2023 World Cup final against Australia on November 19 in Ahmedabad.

Rohit has fond memories of playing in Sri Lanka as he won Asia Cup 2023 as captain in the island nation. He will be keen to make more happy memories in the upcoming tour.
