On Sunday, July 7, seven matches were contested in the North and South groups of Vitality T20 Blast 2024.
In the North Group, Warwickshire triumphed over Nottinghamshire by nine wickets, Northamptonshire secured victory against Durham by five wickets, Lancashire edged out Worcestershire by two wickets, and Derbyshire beat Yorkshire by seven wickets.
In the South Group, Gloucestershire defeated Somerset by five wickets while Glamorgan claimed a 26-run victory over Essex. In a rain-affected match, Surrey emerged victorious against Kent by five runs, with the second innings reduced to eight overs and a DLS target of 87.
Vitality T20 Blast 2024 Most Runs List
Rishi Patel (400) of Leicestershire and Saim Hain (395) of Warwickshire Bears lead the most-runs leaderboard. Rishi has scored a century and fifty in 10 innings, while Sam has smashed four fifties.
Daniel Hughes (354) and Michael Pepper (334) occupy the next two spots, with averages of 39.33 and 37.11, respectively.
Sam Billings and Matthew Breetzke are still in the fifth and sixth positions, having scored 315 and 309 runs at an impressive strike rate of 150.71 and 144.39, respectively.
Tom Banton scored an unbeaten 77-run knock against Gloucestershire and jumped to seventh position with 308 runs.
Dawid Malan descended to eighth position with 298 runs while Miles Hammond scored 42 runs and occupies the ninth spot. Jamie Smith also dropped from eighth to tenth with 285 runs.

Tymal Mills is still atop the most-wickets leaderboard with 19 wickets in nine matches while David Payne moved from third to second with 18 wickets.
Danny Briggs also picked up a wicket and climbed to the third spot, having taken 17 wickets. Ben Raine and Matt Taylor have also picked up 17 wickets and occupy the next two positions, respectively.
Mason Crane picked up two wickets and jumped to sixth position with a total of 16 wickets. Jordan Thompson and Pat Brown also took one wicket each and moved one spot up.
With 15 wickets each, Sean Abbott and Ben Green descended from sixth and seven spots to ninth and tenth, respectively.
