On Friday, June 21, 2024, a total of eight matches were contested in the North and South group teams of Vitality T20 Blast 2024.

In the North Group, Warwickshire beat Worcestershire by five wickets in the first match of the day. Northamptonshire tied with Leicestershire, while Nottinghamshire secured a close eight-run win against Derbyshire. Durham defeated Yorkshire by three runs in the fourth North Group game.

Surrey registered a nine-wicket win over Glamorgan in the South Group. Meanwhile, Essex beat Kent, and Somerset hammered Gloucestershire by five wickets each. Sussex defeated Hampshire in the last South Group match by seven runs.

Rishi Patel smacked his T20 career-best 104-run knock in the previous game against Northamptonshire. He now has 385 runs in eight games, averaging 48.12.

Michael Pepper of Essex rocketed from sixth to second positon after scoring 76 runs in the last match. Similarly, Sam Billings from Kent also climbed up from fifth to third with 300 runs in his account.

Matthew Breetzke (299) ascended from seventh to fourth positon after a quick 47-run innings in the previous encounter against Leicestershire.

Sam Hain scored his third 50 in the last game against Worcestershire and grabbed the fifth spot with 297 runs to his name.

Jamie Smith dropped from the first to sixth rank, having scored 285 runs in seven innings. Daniel Hughes also slipped to seventh from third, scoring 280 runs at a strike rate of 173.91.

Despite being wicketless in the previous match, Matt Taylor continues to sit at the top with 16 wickets. Meanwhile, Ben Green jumped from fourth to the second spot, having picked up 15 wickets in eight games.

Sean Abbott took a three-wicket haul in the previous match against Glamorgan and occupied the third positon with 15 wickets. Similarly, Tymal Mills and Pat Brown are placed fourth and fifth, picking up 15 wickets each.

Tom Curran, Luke Hollman, and Scott Currie hold the next three positions with 14 wickets, respectively.

Danny Briggs and David Payne round off the top 10 with 13 wickets each, taken at an average of 14.00 and 15.92, respectively.
