Durham faced Lancashire in the 53rd match of the Vitality T20 Blast 2024. Durham won by two runs. Graham Clark scored a century in the first innings for Durham, while Chris Green top-scored for Lancashire with 38 off 18.

In the 54th match, Northamptonshire beat Worcestershire by 11 runs. Tom Taylor and Adam Finch took two wickets apiece for Worcestershire, while Ben Sanderson took 3-16 for Northamptonshire.

Somerset won the 55th match against Glamorgan by 108 runs. Skipper Lewis Gregory took three wickets for Somerset and was well supported by his teammates Craig Overton, Jake Ball and Roelof van der Merwe, who scalped two wickets each.

Leicestershire beat Yorkshire by 20 runs in the 56th game of the tournament. Rishi Patel top-scored for Leicestershire with 64 off 47, striking at 136.17 at the top of the order. His innings was laced with five boundaries and two sixes.

Gloucestershire beat Kent by nine wickets in the 57th match of the league. Openers Miles Hammond (80 off 41) and Cameron Bancroft (39 off 30) cruised away at the meagre target of 126 set by Kent.

Meanwhile, the 58th game saw Warwickshire defeat Derbyshire by seven wickets. Dan Mousley and Sam Hain top scored for Warwickshire, scoring 66 and 43 respectively at a strike rate of 124.5 and 102.3 respectively.

Leading the charge in the Vitality T20 Blast runscoring list is Leicestershire batter Rishi Patel, who amassed 281 runs, including a best score of 64. Hot on Patel’s heels is Surrey’s Jamie Smith, whose gritty 276 runs at an average of 46 have been a cornerstone of his team's success.

Northamptonshire's Matthew Breetzke is third with 243 runs at an average of 48.60. Sussex batter Daniel Hughes and Somerset’s Will Smeed have both breached the 230-run mark, with their respective tallies of 241 and 235, being fourth and fifth-best respectively.

Other prominent run scorers of the tournament include Dawid Malan (223 runs), Michael Pepper (213 runs), Sam Billings (211 runs), Graham Clark (209 runs) and Sam Hain (208 runs).

Somerset’s Ben Green is atop the Vitality T20 Blast wickets chart. His impressive performances have earned him a staggering 14 wickets at an impressive average of 12.79.

Occupying the second spot is Gloucestershire’s Matt Taylor, who has been a force to be reckoned with, claiming 13 wickets at an average of 10.23. Surrey’s Tom Curran has picked up 13 wickets at a miserly average of 11.38 and is third.

Gloucestershire’s David Payne has been a revelation, capturing 13 wickets at an average of 11.08. Sussex pacer Tymal Mills has been a consistent threat, claiming 13 wickets too, occupying the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.
