Lancashire locked horns with Nottinghamshire in the 113th match of the Vitality T20 Blast 2024 on Wednesday, July 17. Nottinghamshire batted first and set a mere 132-run target. Lyndon James led the batting department with a 36-ball 51-run knock while Tom Moores added 26 off 24.

Luke Wood was the pick of the Lancashire bowlers, taking three wickets for 23 runs in his four-over spell. Saqib Mahmood, Chris Green, Liam Livingstone, and Tom Hartley also picked up one wicket each.

In reply, Philip Salt (70 off 42) and Livingstone (54* off 37) helped Lancashire comfortably chase down the target in 14.3 overs. Fazalhaq Farooqi and Liam Patterson-White claimed a wicket each for Nottinghamshire.

Michael Pepper of Essex is still at the top of the list with 515 runs in 12 games at an average of 46.81 and a strike rate of over 195.

Sam Hain and Daniel Hughes retained the next two spots, scoring 461 and 451 runs, respectively. Sam averages 65.85 in 11 innings while Daniel averages 37.58 in 12.

Dawid Malan with 420 runs is fourth while Rishi Patel (406) and Tom Banton (404) occupy the following two spots, respectively.

Sam Billings (374) is ranked seventh with one century and half-century while Dan Mousley (364) and Matthew Breetzke hold the eighth and ninth positions, respectively.

Miles Hammond rounds out the top 10 with 362 runs in 13 innings at an average of 30.16.
